The MIDWEST® Offset Aviation Snip MWT-6510L is designed for superior maneuverability when cutting full sheets or tight curves to the left.
These individual snips are ideal for professionals needing reliable and efficient cutting tools for various sheet metal applications.
- Keep blades in adjustment for optimum performance and to maximize cutting life
- Use the proper model and blade pattern for the job
- Do not use snips to cut wire, nails, etc.
- Do not exceed cutting capacity for tool
- Keep blades clean by wiping with a light coat of oil
- Work safely — wear safety glasses when working with hand tools
- Do not use a snip for purposes other than cutting metal
- Be careful of sharp edges on snip. Fully close snip and latch when putting back in tool box or tool belt
- Loosen the locknut on the blade adjustment screw and unlock the safety latch, freeing the handles.
- Hold handles together in hand and tighten adjustment screw by turning head of screw clockwise with other hand. Tighten the adjustment screw just enough to hold the handles in this position.
- Holding the locknut in place, turn the adjustment screw head counterclockwise just enough to allow the handles to spring open.
- Tighten the locknut on the adjustment screw.
